How to Easily Install OsCommerce using Fantastico De Luxe?

Step 1: Login to your cPanel account http://www.yoursite.com/cpanel or http:www.yoursite.com:2082

Step 2: Click on the Fantastico De Luxe Icon in your cpanel account.

Step 3: Under the “E-Commerce” section, Click on “OsCommerce”.

Step 4: On the right panel, select “New Installation”

Step 5: You’ll see a page as below.

Step 6: Fill in your directory details. If you want to install it on your root directory (www.yoursite.com) leave it blank else insert the directory (eg: /oscommerce). Fill out other information and click “Install OsCommerce”.

Step 7: OsCommerce would be successfully installed.

How To Install OsCommerce Manually?

Step 1. Download OsCommerce script from the official drupal page.

Step 2. Extract all files and upload the ‘catalog’ folder to your installation directory in your hosting account. If you want to install it on the homepage of the site, then upload in public_html/www folder. If you want to install it in a directory, then upload the files in the particular directory (e.g. oscommerce/)

Step 3: Go to http://www.yoursite.com/ or if you’re using a directory, go to http://www.yoursite.com/oscommerce/

Step 4: Various system requirements would be checked during this stage, See the tick marks on left of the screenshot below. If you see an error, resolve it before going forward.
